Make the review request part of finishing the job.

Google review automation sends every customer the same review request by text when you mark the job done, so asking no longer depends on someone remembering. OP Digital sets it up and runs it for service businesses across Australia, and it's included in the Website + Automation plan and the managed AI system.

What happens when you finish a job

Priya's blocked drain is fixed.

Example for Harbourside Plumbing, a fictional business. You fix Priya's blocked drain and mark the job done. Priya gets a text: "Hi Priya, thanks for choosing Harbourside Plumbing. Would you leave us a quick Google review?" with a link to leave a Google review. She leaves one: "Quick, tidy, fair price." It lands on the business's Google profile.

How does review automation work?

You mark the job done, the system sends the request at a good moment, and every customer gets the same path to your Google profile.

Turn more finished jobs into honest Google reviews. Automatically. The system asks every customer consistently at the right moment, without relying on someone remembering days later. Everyone gets the same neutral review request, never filtered based on whether their feedback is positive or negative.

  1. Mark the job done

One tap when you finish up. That is your entire involvement. No lists, no reminders, no awkward asks.
  2. The system asks for you

It waits for the right moment, then sends a personal review request by text. Worded like you, timed so it lands well.
  3. Your profile stays current

Every customer receives the same review path. Over time, genuine recent feedback gives future customers more useful evidence about the business.

What do you have to do?

Mark jobs done. We connect your Google Business Profile and write the request with you.

  • We connect your profile

We link your Google Business Profile to the system. If your profile needs a tidy-up first, we handle that too.

  • We write the ask

The request sounds like you, not a robot. We tune the wording and the timing so it never annoys a customer.

  • Live in days

From there you just keep marking jobs done. The reviews build themselves in the background.

Common questions

What if a customer is unhappy?

They get the same opportunity to leave a public review as every other customer, whether their feedback is positive or negative. You can also offer a direct support path, but it never replaces or blocks the public review option.

Is this allowed by Google?

Yes, asking customers for genuine reviews is allowed. What Google bans is review gating, which means sending only satisfied customers to Google. We use the same public review opportunity for everyone and do not filter responses by sentiment.

Do I have to write anything?

No, we write the request messages up front so they sound like you, then the system sends them on its own. Your only job is marking the work done.

How many reviews can I expect?

We won't put a number on it, because it depends on your job volume and how the work lands. What the system changes is the asking: every finished job triggers a request at the moment the customer is happiest, instead of it depending on you remembering days later.

How do I get more Google reviews for my business?

Ask every customer, at the same point in every job, with a direct path to your Google profile. Google's own tips say "you can ask customers to visit a Google link or scan a QR code." The system sends that request by text when you mark the job done, so asking no longer depends on someone remembering.

How many Google reviews do I need?

There's no set number, and Google's guidance doesn't name one. Its local ranking tips say "More reviews and positive ratings can help your business’s local ranking." What grows the count is asking consistently, which is what the system does after every finished job.

Can I pay for Google reviews?

No. Google says "Offering incentives, like free or discounted goods or services, in exchange for customers to post reviews, change reviews, or remove negative reviews is considered fake & misleading content and is strictly prohibited." In Australia, the ACCC also warns that "Businesses that offer incentives to people to write a positive review risk misleading consumers and breaching the law."
